Working in DTLA put me in touch with some sources I would've never had the time or patience to visit if I hadn't worked out here. Even though the drive can be a pain sometimes.. having places like The Central LA Public Library (LAPL) nearby makes it worth while. So I made my way there twice last week. Once to find out I couldn't visit because of the shortened hours (blame the state budget cuts), and again to finally wander the historic edifice and satisfy my curiosities.
