See this.

It's about time.

After stepping off the university campus with a BA in art history, I haven't crossed many opportunities to fill the art history void. Having to pay a gazillion dollars to enroll in a course just to learn a little bit of this and gain a little bit of that can be a bit much. Why can't there be more workshops or public lectures about the subject outside of the institute? Or on any subject at all for that matter?

I've started to frequent the LA central library and I couldn't be more satisfied with the atmosphere and all the goodies they have there... and now I discover they're hosting this? with a contemporary like Shepard Fairey? This has got me all kinds of giddy! Hopefully it'll be an introduction to a series of events like this.

Gosh.. the library is such a magical place!
