Mayumi & Misato

Yesterday's visit to Balconi Coffee to check out the Mayumi & Misato installation was quick, maybe too quick. But I managed to get a few shots (of coffee and art) in. Definitely check the place out if you want to try siphon coffee and some crazy new techy check out process. It was my first time authorizing my credit card on an ipad and sending my receipt via text message. Pretty neat!

So long June, Hello July.

Where the heck did June go? Last I remember I was dog and house sitting at the beginning of the month and suddenly tomorrow is July. Anyway, here are some things that happened in June that I didn't get to post because of the recent laptop dump.

Zero says hello
A Saturday night through a cracked iPhone lens
The Swagger jacker
smiley Daisy
sleepy Phoebe
The sweetest thing - breakfast buns left by your boyfriend's mom
Bet you can't guess what they're looking at.
Big chillin on la slope
Can you spot the majestic Peacock?
Homemade strawberry cheesecake for Switch x Jo birthday
birthday chucks
cookies + brownies = cookiebrownies = deliciously delicious!
In case you thought it was a shady place for sunny people. Get it straight.
Churros Calientes, Santa Monica. Get 'em while they're hot
Roni and Pepper portraits
The real Pepper
Horrible engrish in Santa Monica
Gobi, Mongolian bbq with Sunny
Kaia, the prettiest bitch at work
Sorry, leave the snakes at home.
Leila, I like your song.

Edited.
Bring it on July!

Royally Served

Actually not really. Nothing royal about it at all, besides maybe the name "Royal Falconer," the British Pub I randomly found myself at last weekend with a very lovely gal friend of mine, Jasmine. The random part is that this pub was allll the way in Redlands and yea.. I. was. there. But what brought us out there were Jasmine's friends, a psych rock band by the name "Harlequin Soul." Mountain folk, Alex, Sophie, VC and a no-name, temporary replacement drummer, had everyone in the intimate setting good vibing. The beer selection was decent and the walls were brick (i like exposed brick.. so hot) haha. Anyway,  I didn't know I was down with psych rock until then, I did know that I like free beer, and the personalities that were Harlequin Soul were what overall made for an interesting Saturday night. See what I'm talking about in this little visual summary:

brick. so hot right now. haha
Alex and Sophie
Scottish eggs ftw. I thought this was a British place?
one last look
