An adult one at that. Ever tried putting a kid to bed? If not, do you remember trying to fall asleep as a kid? If you could slightly recall, it wasn't that easy. Imagine what a pain it must have been for your parents to finally put you in dream land? If it was possible.. it was an accomplishment.
And so are the origins for the book "Go the F*ck to Sleep." It's my latest and greatest purchase, only $4.79 through Kindle. In it is the oh so familiar children's book rhetoric coupled with foul language and contradicting illustrations to trick your mind into believing it really is a children's book, when actually it's far from it. I'll leave you with a quick tease of the contents of this short but wholly satisfying book, and maybe you too will be convinced of its nostalgic and delightfully inappropriate splendor.
